Saw this guy, Levi Roots (real name Keith!!!) on Dragons’ Den on BBC Two, he was completely mad but brilliant and now has a contract with Sainsburys’ for his “Raggae Reggae Sauce”. See:

I just got back from London for a AQA Business Studies conference, where Levi ‘Dragon Slayer’ Roots (founder of “The Sauce” as it was originally known as in his “Rasterant”). The guy really is mad… but in a very pleasant way. In it he made a rather unusual entrance (holding a guitar, wearing a pimpin’ suit and an equally crazy hat)- singing the song of the raggae raggae sauce. This guy sure knows how to capture an audience! “LORD, MERCY!” Truly inspiring guy with a truly inspiring story; he came to England at age 12, not knowing how to read or write, he couldn’t count and barely spell his own name. Despite all this he was determined to make his vision a success… 15 years is how long it took from taking the idea from his head and eventually onto the shelves of Sainsbury’s.
I regret to say I hadn’t heard of the guy prior to the business conference (hadn’t seen him on Dragon’s Den either), but I’m ooking forward to trying his famous sauce.
